About Oriental Meat Market
Asia food,
Oriental Meat Market is an asian grocery store in Port Arthur, Texas. It is listed at 4439 Gulfway Dr, Port Arthur, TX 77642, which places it among the local businesses of Port Arthur that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
Asian grocery stores and supermarkets stock ingredients, snacks and household goods that general American supermarkets often do not carry, organized by category rather than by country of origin in most stores. Produce and live or fresh seafood sections are usually at the back or side of the store, and weekend mornings bring the largest crowds and freshest restock. Many larger Asian supermarkets include a hot deli or food court counter selling prepared meals by the pound or as fixed plates, useful for a quick lunch while shopping. Labels are frequently bilingual or untranslated, so store staff can usually help locate a specific ingredient if you ask. Cash, cards and mobile pay are all commonly accepted at larger chains; smaller specialty shops may be cash-preferred.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 7 amβ8 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Port Arthur is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Port Arthur is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. OVERCHARGES!! This is not the first time it has happened...we are often overcharged for items. I would avoid this place. IF you shop here, be VERY aware of what price is advertised for the products you are buying. I bought 2 drinks before, they charged me for 3. I never made it a big deal since I assumed they are new and it was busy. I did not notice myself either since I was buying all sorts of other groceries. But this just keeps happening to not just me, but my other family members as well. They have reported to me that they got overcharged a few dollars for some dessert items. I recently bought 10 banh mi and it is advertised boldly for $4.99 each, but they charged me $5.40 for each sandwich instead. I did not notice until I got home and started looking over my receipt. This is my last time shopping there, as I am not the only one who experiences overcharges. I read some other reviews, and see that someone else also said they got overcharged. Iβm starting to think they do this intentionally when customers arenβt paying close attention at the register. Otherwise, they really need to update their advertised prices or provide better training for their employees when punching in th

My first visit experience was very good. The item I was looking for was out of stock. However, the friendly staff assisted me by taking a second look. I was assured that the item would be ordered and restocked. On my second visit the item was there. I also purchased an Ori Slush not only was the slush delicious it was refreshing. The customer service was excellent. Iβm looking forward to many more great shopping experiences with each visit. Best wishes and great success!

So excited that this market finally opened. Looking at it from the outside, I didnβt expect it to be as huge as it is. Spacious and clean! A wide variety of authentic international grocery items, including a produce section with various fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs. They have a fresh meat department and a ton of frozen items. Their deli serves pho, bun bo hue, banh mi, spring rolls, and boba drinks with a seating area for a dine-in option. We tried the phα» and bΓΊn bΓ² huαΊΏ, and they were pretty good.
